The Moto-Lita Mark 3
The Moto-Lita Mark 3 is special. It's the wood-rimmed wheel that started everything and the most copied wheel on the planet!
Simon Green's vision for a racing wheel for the road, they were supplied new to many of the classic British car makers back in the day, such as Cooper, Healey, Jensen, MG Car Company, Morgan, AC and TVR.
Specification
- Slight upward Y-shape to the spokes
- Standard wood: Sapele laminate
- Standard sizes: 11" to 16"
- Flat or dished formats at no extra charge
- Plain, holes, slots or Cobra slotted spokes at no extra charge
- Grip: Standard depth grip or thick grip at extra cost
- Rivets: 9, 12 or 18 rivets or wood inlay with no rivets
- Stain: Medium or dark - special order ebonised finish
- Polished spokes as standard
- Anodised spokes as an option at extra cost
- Available with Moto-Lita standard 9-bolt pattern as standard 6-bolt small centre ( Momo / Nardi / Optimill etc.) or custom bolt holes available at additional cost
Mark 3s are also available in a flat bottomed version, ideal for where space is at a premium.

- It's not a mass-produced, cheap imitation that will last a couple of years
- Moto-Lita wheels have always been hand-crafted in Britain using traditional techniques. They're the real thing, the original, and if looked after correctly, will last a lifetime
