We’re delighted to share some exciting news from the workshop: Moto-Lita is now the official steering wheel manufacturing partner for Pembleton Motor Company, one of Britain’s most respected coachbuilt motor manufacturers.
Earlier this month, Dave Hitchins, Managing Director of Moto-Lita, joined Guy Gregory, Managing Director of Pembleton, at their brand-new factory in Bayton, Worcestershire. The visit marked the formal beginning of a partnership rooted in shared values: craftsmanship, heritage, and the pursuit of beautiful engineering.
A meeting of two British makers
Stepping inside Pembleton’s factory feels like stepping into a modern interpretation of British motoring heritage. Their T24 and V-Sport models are hand-built from the ground up, combining lightweight engineering, exceptional handling, and a character that honours the golden age of motoring.
Every detail on a Pembleton car is carefully considered, and the steering wheel is no exception. That’s where we come in.
After months of collaboration, design refinement and prototyping, we’re proud to reveal that Moto-Lita steering wheels will now be fitted to Pembleton cars, created to complement their signature style while incorporating a few subtle Moto-Lita touches of our own.
The result is a wheel that feels entirely Pembleton, yet unmistakably Moto-Lita:
- handcrafted in our Hampshire workshop
- built using traditional techniques we’ve honed since 1956
- finished to deliver comfort, control and elegance in equal measure
