1. Choose your rim material
The first choice is whether you want wood, leather, suede or Alcantara?

Wood-rim wheels
These give a classic, heritage feel and are made using high-quality laminated and hard woods, polished to a lustrous finish. Available in a variety of types, including sapele and occasionally okoume for our laminates and mahogany and walnut for our hardwoods, each has its own distinctive grain and tone.

Leather-rim wheels
Our leather wheels are made from the finest autocalf leather and are available in black, red, racing green, and dark blue. Ideal for all-weather comfort, they offer a firm, tactile grip that feels as good in winter gloves as it does on a warm summer’s day. Whether you’re restoring a classic or upgrading a cherished driver, leather is a versatile and timeless choice.

Suede
Suede wheels offer exceptional grip and control, making them a favourite for performance-focused drivers. Our suede wheels are crafted from real steer hide suede, chosen for its natural durability and tactile feel. Soft yet grippy, suede provides excellent feedback through the hands. Available in classic black.

Alcantara
Alcantara is now available on all of our leather rims as an alternative to leather or suede. Originally developed for high-end automotive and motorsport applications, it’s prized for its lightweight feel, durability, and luxurious texture. It offers excellent grip in both dry and damp conditions, making it a favourite among performance drivers.
2. Select your finish
Your rim finish determines the look and feel of the wheel. For wooden wheels, you can choose from a polished clear varnish that lets the natural grain shine, or stained finishes for richer tones.
For leather wheels, the options are: black, dark green, red and dark blue. Or, if you would like something bolder, please contact us. You can match your car’s interior or be daring and create a striking contrast!
3. Pick your rim width
We offer standard and thick-rim options for many of our wheels.

Standard rim – offers a more traditional feel and is ideal for authenticity in period-correct restorations.

Thick rim – slightly chunkier in hand, giving a modernised feel and extra comfort for long-distance driving.
4. Choose your spoke style
Spokes are more than a structural feature. They set the tone for your wheel. Moto-Lita wheels come in a variety of spoke styles, including:

5. Add a boss
Essential to ensuring a safe fit for your wheel is choosing the correct boss. A boss connects a steering column to a steering wheel and is designed specifically to fit each model of car. Moto-Lita bosses can come in polished or black painted finishes.
6. Add matching accessories
To complete the look, you can pair your wheel with matching accessories such as wood and billet aluminium gear knobs, handcrafted to the same high standards.
